A novel that sweeps you away! I loved this story by Mr. Martel. Years after it was written, I convinced our book club to read and share one of my all-time favorites.

Sensational

Literary sensation. Every one w/ a good mind should read this book. Very high vocbulary. Not recommended for children under 13. Content: Implying of canniballism, vicious beasts,course language.

I'm sorry, but I had to force myself to finish reading Life of Pi despite several strong recommendations given my interest in animal behavior.  It was written in a juvenile style that is appropriate to the thesis of the novel, but off-putting to me given my preference for adult literature. ...
